Before we talk about the Ordinary vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone, I want to let you know that I have a new feature to Expat Mum. It is the Honest Beauty and Skin Care Product Review. I admit I have always had an obsession with skincare. But it’s only in the last two years I took skincare to the next level. I want my skin to feel hydrated and look glowy all the time. Don’t we all!! Yet, with all the thousands of skin care products available. We can become overwhelmed with what works and what doesn’t. In the honest review section, I share my honest opinions about products I have tried.
If you are like me and easily get overwhelmed with all the different types of products I want to mention a fantastic book for anyone wanting to understand more about skincare. Skincare: The award-winning ultimate no-nonsense guide by Caroline Hirons. Click here, to get your copy from Amazon.
What is The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone?
The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension is form of vitamin C which has been shown to brighten complexions and defy multiple signs of skin ageing and the addition of very light silicones in this formulation means that it feels super-smooth on the skin.
This product contains a 30 percent concentration of pure vitamin C, which remains completely stable due to the absence of water. Vitamin C is an effective antioxidant and its pure form of l-ascorbic acid has been shown to improve multiple signs of skin aging while brightening the skin. Although a strong (but non-irritating) sensation can be expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use until the skin’s tolerance to a high concentration of vitamin C is improved (the formula can be mixed with other creams and serums to reduce this sensation if needed). It is vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without oil, alcohol, nuts, gluten, and fragrance. Source Sephora and Cult Beauty
