Backpack vs. suitcase

Do you take a backpack or a suitcase? This depends on where you are traveling to and who you are traveling with. Moving abroad with kids will be different than someone backpacking for a year and moving from one place to another.

We moved with four huge suitcases plus backpacks. That was for two adults and two kids. Bringing a smaller backpack along with the suitcase will make it easier to carry your personal items onto the plane.
Need a new suitcase then check out some of these.  These are perfect for all types of travel

Practical Items

You will need to think about what practical items you may need from day one. Do you really want to be going out and looking for that adapter plug so you can dry your hair? Probably not.

Here are some suggestions you may wish to include into your packing.

Travel Adaptor Plug

There are many  variations of adaptor plugs and socket types, and many countries may use more than one.  Do your research and buy the right type before you leave!

Portable battery pack

A portable battery pack is a must especially travelling long hall. You’ll want to make sure your phones and tablets are fully charged.  If you don’t have a portable battery pack you should consider purchasing.

Luggage locks

So now you’ve got your bags and suitcases packed you’ll want to keep every thing safe.

Vacuum storage bags

Shorts, dresses, t-shirts, skirts and the list goes on.  Do you really need to take all the clothes? Of course! Okay, maybe not but it’s always good to fit as much as you can into your luggage. Vacuum storage bags are your solution!! We love these, especially if you are travelling with children and need to take evern more clothes.
